What you need to know about your booking:
* Can we bring in our own food and drinks? Yes, you are welcome to bring in anything that you’d like. Please note that we are a peanut free facility. Food and drinks must remain in the party room, and will not be allowed in the play area.
* What ages are considered infant, child, and adult? We consider infants to be those who are under 14 months of age. For all party bookings, children who are 14 months and older will be charged the $5 rate. Adults are those over the age of 16 years and there to supervise.
* Can we decorate? Yes, you can put up any decorations that you’d like. We recommend using regular tape, painters tape, other paint safe tapes, or sticky dots to put things up on the wall. We do not allow push pins, duct tape, or others like it to be used on the walls. We also ask that you please slowly and carefully remove decorations at the end of the party in order to avoid damage. Feel free to leave up any decorations that you don’t want to keep, and the staff will safely remove them.
* When can we arrive? We allow access to the party room up to 1 hour before the booked party start time to allow for set-up and decorating. Staff will have the tables and chairs set up in advance for you, and you just need to let us know when you arrive if more tables and chairs are needed. You will not have access to the play area until your booking start time, unless it is a public open play time.
* Where do my guests enter? We use the entry door closest to the room that you have booked, this way there isn’t two groups arriving and departing at the same time that are using the same door. If you have the small party room booked, your guests will enter and exit through the main entrance door (last door of the building). If you have the large party room booked, your guests will enter into the door that directly leads into that party room (third door from the end).
* When do we have to leave by? We do back to back parties so we will need your group to leave the play area no later than when your booked time slot is done. Your end time is their start time for the next group and any delays in departing will result in the next party being delayed to start their party. We welcome you to bring your guests into your party room when your time is close to concluding. We will allow up to 20 minutes in the party room after your booking time to allow you to gather your items and for your guests to depart.
* Do I have to clean the room up afterwards? No, just take your items and leave the mess behind, we will do all of the clean up. To help us cut down on waste, please leave up any table clothes and decorations that you don’t want to keep, and reframe from throwing out gift bags and tissue paper. We try our best to reuse anything that we can. To further assist us, please use the recycling bin provided for disposing of items that are paper/cardboard, plastic, glass, aluminum, etc.
* What if I need to cancel or reschedule? In order to make any changes to the reservation, please call us.
* Socks are required to be worn by both adults and children when in the play area. This is for cleanliness and hygiene purposes. No bare feet or outdoor shoes will be allowed to be worn in the play area. Clean indoor shoes will be allowed, but not worn in the jungle gym as it can be dangerous when going down the slides and also scuff up our jungle gym mats. If you’d like to have something on your feet other than socks, we recommend wearing soft bottomed slippers. The floors can be slippery, so grip socks are highly recommended, but not required. Both regular and Jump brand grip socks are for sale at our front desk.
* We ask that anyone who is sick to please not attend any bookings at the Centre. This is for the safety of our staff and other families who are playing. If you are hosting the party, please contact us to reschedule.
* Where can we park? Weeknights may be slightly limited on parking as there is only street parking available (Durham and Queen Street). However, on weekends our customers are allowed to use the parking lot behind the building and the lot across the road at the Mental Health building.
