“Cowboy Christmas” is happening in Nebraska

The first week of July is affectionately known as “Cowboy Christmas” by cowboys and cowgirls. This time of year is extra special for rodeo competitors, as there is an influx of rodeos to compete in and big money to be won.

It’s a special time of year for spectators too, because there are even more rodeos to see!

Below is a list of rodeos happening in Nebraska this coming week. Be sure to find one near you to support your local community and the competitors who will put on a great show!

Old West Trail PRCA Rodeo – Crawford, NE	July 3-4
Sutherland 4th of July Rodeo – Sutherland, NE	July 3-4
Pony Express Rodeo – Gothenburg, NE	July 3-4
Camp Clarke Stampede – Bridgeport, NE	July 4-5
35th Annual Stuart Rodeo – Stuart, NE	July 5-6
Madison County Rodeo – Madison, NE	July 10-12

Calgary Stampede – Calgary, AB	July 5-14
