Deadpool & Wolverine 4K Blu-Ray Steelbook pre-orders are live

The biggest live-action box office draw of 2024 is now available to watch from the comfort of your own home. Deadpool & Wolverine is available to rent or purchase now on Amazon Prime Video and other digital-on-demand services, but you might want to wait a few more weeks for the Blu-ray release on October 22. The digital version costs $30 to own and $25 to rent. While this pricing structure is common for blockbusters, all physical editions of Deadpool & Wolverine will be bundled with a digital copy. Amazon and Walmart are the only major retailers taking pre-orders for physical editions starting October 1.

Pre-orders for the limited edition 4K editions – one with a Deadpool steel bookthe other with one Wolverine sample book–are available at Amazon and Walmart for $66 each. Both editions come with 4K Blu-ray, standard Blu-ray and digital copies. The price will likely drop for both, and both retailers are offering price guarantees for pre-ordering. You pay the lowest price offered until your order is shipped. Until then, no costs will be charged. Both editions come with 4K Blu-ray, standard Blu-ray and digital copies.


If you’re not interested in steelbook cases, that’s fine too pre-order the 4K Blu-ray edition of Deadpool & Wolverine for just $30; this version comes with regular Blu-ray and digital editions. Walmart’s exclusive Blu-ray edition can also be pre-ordered for $34.70; this comes with standard Blu-ray and digital copies, as well as a cover featuring Deadpool pop-up art.

We expect both steelbook editions – one for Deadpool, one for Wolverine – and the Walmart-exclusive Blu-ray to sell out. There are two limited edition 4K UHD versions of the film for you to consider. Both are packed with the same bonus content, but they include exclusive steelbooks. This version is the Deadpool variant, with an action shot of Deadpool on the cover and a blood red interior. Some of the bonus content includes commentary from director Shawn Levy and Ryan Reynolds, multiple deleted scenes, and several featurettes that go behind the scenes of the hit film.

You can pre-order the Deadpool Steelbook edition at Amazon And Walmart. In general, Deadpool merchandise sells out faster than Wolverine merchandise, so we wouldn’t be surprised if this variant proves harder to find.

This variant gives you the same content as the Deadpool variant, but instead features Wolverine on the cover and a vibrant yellow interior. That means you have the freedom to choose the 4K steelbook you think would best fit your collection, or simply grab the version that’s still in stock.

You can pre-order the Wolverine steelbook edition at Amazon And Walmartbut it will probably sell out quickly.

Although you only get standard 1080p Blu-ray and digital versions of the film, this Walmart-exclusive version of Deadpool & Wolverine comes with a pretty cool slipcase. Called an “O-Sleeve,” the packaging unfolds to reveal chaotic art features a lot of of Deadpools surrounding Hugh Jackman’s annoyed Wolverine. If you want some Deadpool pop-up display art, you should probably order soon.

You can also order in advance Deadpool & Wolverine: Exposed – Photos from the setthe first Marvel film to receive a book documenting the film’s production in photos. It won’t be released until March 25, 2025, but it’s cheaper than the art book at $60.

This year also saw the release of two Deadpool & Wolverine comic book collections. Deadpool vs. Wolverinea collection of crossover comics featuring the duo, was published in March and is available for $25 (was $40). In the meantime, Deadpool & Wolverine: WWIIIa graphic novel collecting the recent four-issue limited series was published on October 1 and is available for $14.39 (down from $16).
