Fantasy Golf Lineup Selections for DraftKings (PGA DFS)

We have tons of great weekly PGA articles, DFS analysis, tools and DFS advice. Check out our other great articles about this week’s event.

Highly Priced DraftKings DFS Players

***There are four players priced over $10,000. Remember, my DFS article is always a first look at the field. Opinions can change as the week progresses, and I’m more than happy to talk to everyone further Twitter/X.

I do not believe that Jordan Spieth game is just as bad as my ranking for him, as I imagine he’s massively underowned in DFS play this week after earning the most expensive spot on the board. I’m not necessarily gunning to play him, as I see this as too expensive a route. For me, though, landing the cream of the crop in the $10,000+ range is Aaron Rai.

Rai ranked first in my model for all three iterations of general, safety and upside, and led the field with five top-10 returns in the six categories I covered this week.

While I expect Rai to become more popular, I can’t guarantee he’ll be more popular than Sepp Straka or Sungjae Im, two golfers who scored well on my list but fell short of Rai’s potential.

Mid-tier DraftKings DFS Players

Reach $9,000

I will are on display Unpleasant Maverick McNealy, Davis Thompson and JT Poston.

I had a terribly a similar answer for JT Poston to the one we got last week with Min Woo Lee when my model also found an upside that beat the general view for his potential. That doesn’t mean his bottom isn’t a bit lower than some of his peers (an area in my sheet that did drop him to the bottom of my top 10).

However, Poston’s first place finish for Weighted Strokes Gained Total for this event had much more impact in terms of upside than any floor result, as in GPP competitions we are looking for ceiling potential.

Mid-tier DraftKings DFS Players

Reach $8,000

I buy the Lucas Clanton hype after the college product continued to receive a lot of attention well into Sunday afternoon during the Rocket Mortgage Classic.

I don’t have enough data to feel super I am confident that I will achieve good returns with the John Deere Classic. Still, Clanton has performed admirably several times this season, including a few weeks ago at the US Open.

Cheap DraftKings DFS Players to Consider ($7,000+)

Check out my model for everything in this section. There you will get individual rankings of all players and you can weight the data to create your own model when you make a copy. Please consider signing up for this tool that I am proud to share with the public!

I bet both Ryo Hisatsune and Daniel Berger inside the live market this week.

My model had the two in a select group of nine players who finished in the top 60 of all six categories I competed in, also finished in the top 10 of one of those stats.

I don’t see a big difference between the twoif we are honestwhich is probably why the duo divided the six metrics they assessed into three.

I play on both for all the positive sides of the market.

$6,000 Options to Consider

Patton Kizzire has the best stats, course history and current form of anyone in this $6,000 class.

His 11th-place finish, which he expected before hitting the ball for Deere Run, is a fine achievement for a player who has led the score from tee to green in four consecutive starts.

Favorite play per section (Monday):

$10,000+ – Aaron Rai
$9,000+ – JT Poston
$8,000+ – Luke Clanton
$7,000+ – Ryo Hisatsune and Daniel Berger
$6,000+ – Patton Kizzire

Fade-in by section (Monday):

$10,000+ – Not a natural fade. I won’t play Spieth at that price, but I assume no one else does. It’s hard to say negatively about that profile when he’s still rated as a top 30 player (albeit the highest ranked player on the board).
$9,000+ – Sam Stevens
$8,000+ – Seamus Power
$7,000+ – SH Kim
$6,000+ – Peter Malnati
