The Washington Commanders open the 2024 season with a road game against the reigning NFC South champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa this Sunday afternoon. Rookie quarterback and 2023 Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels will make his first NFL start for the Commanders. The former LSU star will go head-to-head with QB Baker Mayfield, who starts for the Bucs. The Buccaneers vs. Commanders game kicks off at 4:25 p.m. ET on Sunday, September 8 during Fox’s late window.
