Andrew John Hozier-Byrne, better known as Hozier and hailing from Ireland, first found success with the release of “Take Me to Church” in 2013. The song would go on to become a massive worldwide hit and has been certified 13 times platinum.

Hozier will take the stage at the Gorge Amphitheatre on Friday night.

Hozier has released three albums and several EPs, with a sound largely influenced by folk, soul, blues, rock and R&B, with themes such as spirituality, social issues and introspection.

Some of his most popular songs include “Jackie and Wilson”, “Eat Your Young”, “Almost (Sweet Music)”, “Work Song”, and the 2024 singles “Too Sweet” and “Nobody’s Solder”.

Singer-songwriter Allison Russell, who is currently promoting his latest full-length album on the “Unreal Unearth Tour,” will open for him on Friday. Russell joined Hozier on the track “Wildflower and Barley” from his March EP “Unheard.”

Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. concert are $56-$127 and are available through LiveNation.
